Changing rooms (Sort of)

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't began posting but I have a really good excuse I've been busy setting up Ixia (My jewellery Store) and I took a few weeks out to really recollect myself and re-evaluate things and I'll write a post about this very very soon as it's now a subject I hold very close to my heart and that I want to help others with!

Anyway, during this time I decided to change my room completely! So with £20 kindly donated to me by my family I decided to make a few changes!

This was when I first began... Two parties in Two days and I had a new floordrobe which wasn't very appealing! So I had the hard task of clearing all this away and once I'd taken everything out of my wardrobe, shelves and office and threw it all on the floor it took me 3 days to go from the picture above to-

THIS!  And it still was quite a mess and I ended up throwing away about 10 bin bags worth of stuff which went to charity and people who I knew. Eventually I needed to go out and buy new things for this room!
So I brought two storage boxes one to hold all my beauty products like bath and shower gel and moisturizer etc... and one to hold all my electrical things! These two boxes were £3 each from asda and are a grey and black colour which matches my room perfectly! I also brought a lovely photo frame which holds six photos but currently only has two in it! This was only £3.99 from Pound Stretcher and is a perfect addition to a plain corner of my room and helps me remember happy times which is also a bonus! I brought two extra door hooks with crystals on which come in useful for extra coats or things that need to be hung up and look really decorative these were only £2.99 for the two also from pound stretcher! And my final buy is an adorable black pot with diamonds on a central band for my make-up brushes as them being hidden in my make-up drawer meant they were getting squashed and ruined! I got this pot from B&M for a cheap £1.99, All will be pictured below!

I used some other boxes I already had to store things like nail polishes neatly and I cleared out all my old make-up leaving me with more room and a set of completely refreshed shelves! I also changed a wooden whiteboard I have by painting it black so it no longer sticks out like a sore thumb! I used clear glass jars to store my earrings and a separate one for my rings and placed tissue in the bottom of them to make them more decorative!

My room renovation came in at  £14.97 which is really cheap and for the sake of cleaning up and clearing out its completely changed my room!

My whiteboard before it got painted and it looks horrific against the grey walls but after two coats of paint and a pain staking 1 hour (I had to be careful as to not get paint on the walls) It looks soo much better and the magnets now have cute grey diamonds on!

My white board after with the magnets and I popped a calender next to it near the door to help me remember things that I'm doing/ need to do!






These are my door hooks that just look great with my white door! I highly recommend them as they are just great for storing extra coats/ scarves.

And finally my favorite piece my picture frame!

and it's turned a plain wall into a mini feature wall! I just need 4 more good photos to fill these spaces!












And that's my complete bedroom rechange which took me at least a week to gather and plan and then actually complete, but it was well worth the time and effort!
